Step 1: Log into Your Website’s Backend

  • Select a title for your Related Posts widget and decide on the HTML tag for the title.
  • Optionally add a description.
  • Choose whether to use thumbnails. If using thumbnails, decide on their placement (above or below the link text) and set the thumbnail size. Adjust the size as needed to fit your site’s design.

  • Preview your settings to see how the widget looks on your site.
  • Adjust margins, thumbnail sizes, and layout as needed.
  • Decide if you want Link Whisper to automatically select related posts or if you prefer to manually select specific articles.
  • Choose to link based on tags, categories, or matching terms.
  • Set your existing link policy, like linking freely to all posts or avoiding posts already internally linked in the current post.
  • Determine the number of links to display, which will depend on the width of your site.
  • Test how it looks on various devices.
  • If using thumbnails, choose between a row layout (for images) or a single column (for bullet lists).

  • Action: Once you are satisfied with the configuration, save your settings.
