We currently have two methods of sending your site’s data to OpenAI for processing.
The fastest way to process the site’s data is with the “Active” method. By clicking the “Begin Processing Data” button, Link Whisper will create an active connection to OpenAI and will send the site’s post content over for processing. Since this is an active connection, you will need to keep the Settings tab open.
If you close the browser tab, the connection will close, and you will need to continue the process later. All processed data is saved, so if you do need to close the tab, when do restart the process, it will pick up right where it left off.
The less expensive but slower way to process the site data is with the “Batch Processing” method. With that, Link Whisper will slowly go over the site’s posts and send large batches of them to OpenAI for analysis. Since the process is less demanding for OpenAI, the price for batch processed posts is 50% less than when using the Active processing. To use it the batch processing, all you need to do is toggle on “Enable AI Batch Processing” and save the settings.
Additionally, since the batch processing is autonomous, it’s a good idea to turn it “on” as a method of keeping the site’s AI data up to date in the background.
If you have the Batch processing turned on, and start up the “Active” processing method, the “Active” method will override the batch process and will process the queued batch posts actively.
