Is there an ongoing charge for using the AI features?
No, once a post has been processed by AI, Link Whisper stores the processed data and can consult it as needed going into the future. New charges only are made when processing new posts or if you clear out the old AI data and then go through a new processing run.
Who is responsible for securing my data?
Your data is transferred exclusively between your site and OpenAI and is subject to their processing and privacy terms and policies. You can read more about their terms and conditions here: Consumer Privacy, General Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy.
Do you use my data for any purpose?
No, your connection is strictly between you and OpenAI, and we can not monitor it or use it for any purpose.
Will my site’s data be used to train or improve AI?
No, by default, OpenAI doesn’t use API data to train or develop its AIs. You can choose to opt into training if you wish, but by default they do not use the data.

What data is sent to OpenAI for processing?
Only post content that Link Whisper is set to process (and insert links into) is sent to OpenAI. Personal data such as user names and emails, and transactional data like WooCommerce orders or submitted forms are not sent.
You can set the post types that Link Whisper is allowed to process from the General Settings tab of the Link Whisper Settings. (Under the “Post Types to Process” and “Term Types to Process” settings)
Will activating the AI Integration slow down my site?
No, it will not! 🙂 The AI data is highly pre-processed, and is used in a way that doesn’t impact page performance.
Do the AI features only work in English?
The AI features are not restricted to English, and they work in all languages that Link Whisper supports!
I just published a new post, how do I scan it with AI?
To immediately scan a new post, all you need to do is go to Link Whisper’s AI Settings tab, and click the “Begin Processing Data” button. Link Whisper will scan the unprocessed post and will update the database with the new data. Clicking on the “Begin Processing Data” button does not erase any existing data, and you will only be charged for posts that haven’t been processed yet.
Alternatively, if you have the AI Batch Processing enabled, you can simply wait for Link Whisper to automatically detect the new post and run it’s AI processing routines on it. Batch processing is done at 50% of the cost of “live” processing, but may take between 12-48 hours to complete.
