Yes, you can manually trigger the Auto Link creation scan for existing Auto Link Rules. There’s no need to delete the Auto Link Rule and then re-add it to trigger the scan.

For single Autolinking rules

To manually trigger the link creation scan for a single rule, click on the small setting gear next to the “Keyword” for the Auto Link Rule you want to trigger. With the settings open, click on the “Save” button and Link Whsiper will re-run the scan. Since the settings haven’t changed, Link Whisper will just make sure the Auto Links are created on all possible posts.

For multiple Autolinking rules

To trigger the creation scan for multiple rules, please select the rules that you want Link Whisper to perform a scan for.

Once you’ve selected all the rules that you want to refresh, please open the “Bulk Actions” dropdown, and click on the “Refresh Selected Rules” option.

After selecting the option, please click on the “Do Bulk Action” button to start the scan.

While the scan is running, please leave the tab open. It may take a considerable amount of time to process all the posts, but if you close the tab, the scan will stop and will need to be restarted later.
