Tailoring the report information

The Link Report comes equipped with settings to set it only to show information relevant to your needs and interests.

These settings are contained in the “Screen Options” section on the Link Report page, and they are:

• Show categories.
• Show post type.
• Show the post publish date.
• Show the organic traffic.
• Don’t show posts that have been ignored.
• Don’t show posts that have been set to noindex.

As well as pagination controls, you can set how many results you want to see on a single page of the report.

Show categories.

Checking this will have Link Whisper include categories as items in the Links Report.

Show post type.

Checking this will have Link Whisper add a column to the report that displays each item’s post type.

Show the post publish date.

Checking this will have Link Whisper add a column to the report that displays each item’s publish date. This column is sortable, so you can sort the posts from newest to oldest and vise versa.

Show the organic traffic.

Checking this will have Link Whisper add a column to the report that displays the organic traffic stats obtained from Google Search Console. The current stats shown for each post are the clicks and the average position in the search results.

Since the data is from GSC, Link Whisper can only show you this column if you’ve authenticated the GSC connection in the Link Whisper Settings.

The column is sortable and sorts the results based on the number of clicks each item has.

Don’t show posts that have been ignored.

Checking this will tell Link Whisper not to display any posts you’ve ignored in the Link Whisper settings.

Don’t show posts that have been set to noindex.

Checking this will tell Link Whisper not to display any posts set to noindex in the Yoast SEO or Rank Math SEO plugins.
